S is for Sign

This shall be a Sign

This shall be a Sign

Signs are a good thing, don’t you agree. They tell us what route we’re on and where it leads us. They tell us a safe traveling speed. They remind us to yield to one coming traffic. They force us to stop at intersections for our own good. They caution us about deer crossings, railroad crossings, and children crossings, not to mention bus stops. Even though many people chose to ignore signs, our lives would be quite chaotic without them.

But that’s not why I’m thankful for signs. I’m thankful for signs because God was given us signs to identify His Son.

“And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger” (Luke 2:12).

How about you? What are you thankful for that begins with the letter S?

See you in a twinkling,

Brenda K. Hendricks

  1. ‘Skills’ that God has given us/allowed us to learn, unique for each of us! (and also, I”m thankful for individuals using theirs for charity in beneficial ways).
