At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. (Luke 1:39)
When my husband and I qualified for a better health-care insurance, we questioned everyone we knew who already had a similar policy. We wanted the reassurance that the company held true to their word. Aren’t we all like that when we receive an offer that seems too good to be true? Well at least we should be. It makes sense to check out the credibility of every business we have to deal with, bar none.
Mary seemed anxious to check out the credibility of the angel’s message. Not that she was doubting God, but He had given her the opportunity for reassurance, and she took it.
