Advent 2012 Day 22

“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.” (Matthew 25:1-4 NIV)

  1. Thank you for the thought provoking insight!! In thinking about how your parents start preparing you for your wedding day from the time you can walk, God does the same. We are part of the Bridegroom’s preparation…We are the Princess Bride! And every trial and disciplinary action is preparation for our next stage in life…our marriage as one church to the Groom, Jesus Christ! You are so right!! We SHOULD be dreaming more about that day & acting accordingly because unlike our wedding day here on earth, we don’t know when the Groom will be ready for His bride! How exciting!!! 😀
